Feedback Sports Pro Elite + Travel Bag - Awesome MTB's Choice - Review
In my opinion a good Repair Stand is one of the must haves every bike lover should own. Today we are going to have a look at a the Feedback Sports Pro Elite, a definitely more premium product. Read our Review to find out what separates this one from the masses.
Why do you need a Repair Stand?
This one is simple. When working on wheels, brakes or your gears, you profit a lot from working in a more upright position. Adjusting your gears is a horrible job, when you don’t have a place to hang or mount your bike to. You will also start loving it when cleaning your bike. You can clean super tight spots in your rear linkage and your wheels a lot better, just to mention some examples.

The stand features a big, three-legged base which is super stable and can hold up to 39kg. Both the adjuster for the base and the height adjustment use quick release levers. So you don’t need a single tool to get started. Going from folded to unfolded only takes a couple of seconds. Nice!
On top of that, the quick release lever system is one of the best designed ones in the market. I have worked with different stands at similar price points and I really prefer the stable feel of this one.
The Feedback Sports Elite Pro is extremely versatile working both low to the ground and super high. It’s high enough that you can look at your bottom bracket kind of eye level. The height is infinitive adjustable from 107 to 180cm.
Next thing to look at is the clamping system. The clamping arm can be rotated 360 degrees to provide easy access to any part of your bicycle. The big features are called ratchet-action closure, micro-adjustability and the push release-button. For closing the jaws you have two options. Turn the black knob to tighten the clamp or push the outer side towards the inner side. To work on your bike you would normally lift it inside the red jaws, push them together by hand and then turn the black screw a couple of turns to micro-adjust the force until the bike is properly secured. Sounds complicated – but it’s the opposite. In my experience it helps you to quick and easy tighten even a heavy bike.
Inside the jaws there is a red rubber that is soft enough to even clamp your high end dropper post. In the case you wear them down in a couple of years or your day to day bike shop life, there are replacement parts available online. Speaking of replacement parts, Feedback Sports offer you a 3 years warranty in case there is any kind of production issue. My personal unit looks and feels flawlessly.
Getting your bike out of the stand is also super well thought of. I always start by turning the black screw a couple of turns, hitting the “push to release” button will then open the clamps completely. No more endless turning to get your bike down.
This stand isn’t cheap, but for anyone who tries to work on his/her bike professionally, it’s a no brainer. I am a huge fan of mine and I will use it until I find one that offers me a similar comfort and feel. I will let you know 😉
